Total Hip Replacement is known for its energetic and unique live concerts. The music grows from solid roots of reggae, soul, afro and indie, uniting pulsating grooves, colourful horn riffs and soul drenched vocals. The sound is warm and hopeful, but the messages are direct and revolve around the worrying direction in which the world is turning. Live the band creates an inclusive space, bubbling with infectious playfulness.
After a great European summer tour 2025 with their Ghanaian buddies of Anyankofo and before another promising sum-mer 2026, Total Hip Replacement keep the motivation high and are coming for a string of club shows in Germany, brin-ging new music!

Die Indie-Dance-Band aus Kiel - hat eine ordentliche Portion Disco, funkelnde Jazzchords und dreckig-rockige Riffs im Gepäck. Seit nunmehr 3 Jahren bringen sie Kiel und Umgebung zum Tanzen, immer mit Hingabe, voller Spielfreude und einem abwechslungsreichen Set, bei dem jeder Song erfrischend anders klingt.
Neben Gigs auf Festivals, Hamburg und ganz Schleswig-Holstein haben die vier Musiker mittlerweile auch vier Songs und einige Musikvideos veröffentlicht. Aktuell erschienen ist ihre neue Single TOURIST.
