Science Day: Designing the Invisible Brains of Technology - How Computer Chips Are Born

Have a look at how computer chips are designed at the faculty of engineering.

Every smart device - from your phone to a medical sensor - has a tiny "brain" called a microchip (IC or ASIC). We are designing these chips entirely on computers using special software (EDA tools), simulating how electricity flows through microscopic circuits. Once perfected, the designs are sent to factories for fabrication, where they're printed onto silicon wafers and packaged into chips we use daily.
Why it matters: Without this step, we'd have no wearable tech, no smart hospitals, and no AI!
