Pint of Science brings cutting-edge research to pubs—this year at COBL! No prior knowledge needed, just curiosity. Since 2020, Pint of Science has taken place in Kiel, connecting local scientists with the public in a relaxed setting. Join us this May for engaging talks, great company, and cool drinks. Don’t miss the fun pub quiz with exciting prizes! Space is limited, and all talks at COBL will be held in English.

This year, our speakers will take you from the mysteries of the microbiome in our urban lives to the question of what truly counts as “natural” in the food we eat. And if you're more artistically inclined, you'll even discover how photography and painting can merge to create entirely new realities.
