The faculty is divided into two locations: The Institute of Computer Science is located on the campus in the west of Kiel, the other two institutes (Institute of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and Institute of Materials Science) are located in Kiel-Gaarden in the east of the city. The dean's office and most of the central facilities are also located there.

You can reach the TF with the public bus lines 60S, 100, 11, as well as 200, 210 and 201. The connection 60S is a fast connection between the FH Kiel / Technical Faculty and the campus of the CAU.
