No question, the Kieler Schaubude is cult!

Launched almost 20 years ago under the name "Tanzdiele", the scene shop in Legienstrasse quickly established itself as the state capital's first address for high-quality underground events. Concerts, disco, poetry slam - no matter for whom the Schaubude opens its stage, the bull's eye is guaranteed. An initially small circle of fans and friends, who welcomed this alternative to the prevailing commercial events more than gratefully, has meanwhile developed into a dense fan base beyond Kiel's borders. An appearance in the Schaubude - that's where many newcomers dream of, since giants like The Adolescents, SMOKE BLOW, The Real MacKenzies, The Gaslight Anthem or The Casualties have stood on the boards that mean the world. The renowned Poetry Slam also finds its plenum in the Schaubude with beautiful regularity in front of a full hut, and this is only one example of the concept for the promotion of alternative culture that owner Julius cultivates. The Schaubude is also enjoying excellent health in 2016 and is starting off with promising events. A must-have for every scene walker, whether young or old.
