Polaris - the space submarine

An elaborate animated journey into space. James, a traveling penguin from the South Pole with a thirst for knowledge, meets Vladimir the polar bear at the North Pole. Both become friends, tell each other about their home and wonder about the length of the polar nights. Together they look at the stars. With a self-built spaceship, they embark on a journey around the Earth with detours to Mars and Saturn and find answers to many questions.
