Roswitha Steinkopf – LOOK WITH DIFFERENT EYES

Exhibition for Roswitha Steinkopf's 75th birthday: pictures and photos from the past 50 years.

To mark her 75th birthday, the Heikendorf Artists' Museum is dedicating an exhibition to Kiel-based artist Roswitha Steinkopf, featuring paintings from the past 50 years. The exhibition juxtaposes the artist's own photographs with her canvas paintings. Photographs are never realistically translated into paintings. However, the impressions of her life in Schleswig-Holstein and elsewhere in the world have certainly influenced her artistic work – consciously or unconsciously.
