Just in time for the start of summer, Kiel station is transformed into a true sports station
On Friday, May 29, 2026 from 1 pm to 7 pm and Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 10 am to 4 pm, a number of attractive sports stations will be set up on the station forecourt and in the station concourse for people to watch and take part in.
All travelers and visitors can try their hand at climbing on the climbing wall (height 6.10 meters) and get a view of the station from an unusual height and perspective. The best thing is: the higher you climb, the more we donate to the station mission!
If you don't want to climb, you can compete against a table tennis robot, try out strength exercises with your own body weight at the calisthenics stand, have your shooting speed measured at the goal wall shooting or test your aim at putting on the golf course. And all free of charge!
In addition to the hands-on sporting activities, visitors will also be offered an attractive supporting program on a 6x6-metre presentation area with wheel of fortune spins for young and old with great prizes to be won, dance performances and musical interludes. So it's worth stopping by and taking part!
