Kiel Week cancellation policy (June 21-30, 2024; June 20-29, 2025): Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival can be made free of charge. After that, we charge 90% of the total amount.

A7 / A210 / A215 to the Kiel-Mettenhof exit, heading towards Mettenhof. Turn right at the first traffic light, follow the signs for Hasseldieksdamm. After the second traffic light, turn right into Martenshofweg. Hotel Birke is located on the left side.

B 404 / B 76: Continue on the federal road in Kiel towards Eckernförde. Exit Kronshagen South, Wittland. Turn left at the first traffic light, follow the road straight ahead. 150 m before the fifth traffic light, turn left. After the small forest area, turn right. Before the next traffic light, turn left into Martenshofweg.
Hotel Birke is located on the left side.

Train station: Kiel Main Station, then take bus lines 91 or 31 towards Mettenhof to the Waldesruh stop (you will already see Hotel Birke on the opposite side of the street) or take a taxi - the ride takes about 10 minutes (approximately 4.5 km).

Public transport: With 4 bus lines 6, 31, 91, and 704 stopping directly at the hotel ("Waldesruh"), we can be easily reached from all directions and from any point in Kiel throughout the day.

Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel International Airport: about 1 hour away (approximately 86 km). A shuttle service is available upon request.

The ferry terminals of "Stena Line" and "Color Line" are about 10 minutes (approximately 4.5 km) by car or taxi from the hotel.
