    The Rathausplatz is located in front of the old town hall of Kiel.  

    The Kiel Town Hall is the contact point for citizens of Kiel. The large forecourt of the town hall offers space for the Internationalen Markt during the Kieler Woche, the summer opera and the summer theatre can also seasonally be found here, as well as the Christmas village during the Christmas market time.
