Immerse yourself in the world of computers at Kiel University of Applied Sciences

The Computer Museum of the Kiel University of Applied Sciences is the largest and most comprehensive computer museum in northern Germany. The more than 4000 objects are housed on about 800 square meters in a converted bunker from the Second World War. All in all, the museum shows mechanical calculating machines from past centuries, large computer systems from the 1950s to the 1980s and PCs and notebooks from the late 1990s. A focal point of the exhibition are the listed computers of the computer pioneer Konrad Zuse.
The selection of microcomputers from the recent past is outstanding nationwide: whether Commodore, IBM, Atari or Amiga, everyone can indulge in memories and try out old games such as "Pacman" at two emulation stations.

Direction

Arrival by car
Follow the A215 direction Kiel and take the exit "Ostuferhafen". Stay on the Theodor-Heuss Ring direction "Ostuferhafen" and take the exit "Ostuferhafen/Fachhochschule".

Shortly after the Jet petrol station on the right hand side, the left lane leads through the underpass in the direction of "Ostuferhafen/Fachhochschule/Mediendom". From there simply follow the signs to "Computermuseum".

Arrival by bus & ferry
You can reach the Computer Museum on weekends with the bus line 11. Get off at the bus stop "Fachhochschule".

For private travel by bus, there is a bus parking lot available on the campus of the Kiel University of Applied Sciences. This is only a few minutes' walk away on Schwentinestrasse.
