The Office for Culture and Further Education is responsible for the maintenance and administration of culture and its promotion.
Guidelines are decisive for the promotion. Artists of all cultural disciplines residing in Kiel can apply for funding and receive financial, material or non-material assistance after examination. In addition, the Cultural Administration looks after cultural centers, private initiatives of the music, literature and theater scene and cultural district work. Cultural organizers receive advice and organizational support.
