Our young kitchen team creates tasty new dishes every day in accordance with the season, region and freshness. We are happy to take the products directly from the producer, such as the rump steak from Schleswig-Holstein heifers (young cattle), Markeruper geese, potatoes from the local farmer, fish directly from the cutter, to name just a few examples. Both the guest who loves the classic cuisine will be thrilled, as well as the one who would like to be surprised by young & creative dishes. The kitchen team around Ulf Sierks and Nico Mordhorst combines tradition and new ideas.

Direction

Coming from the south via the A7 to the Bordesholmer Dreieck and then onto the A 215 towards Kiel. Then take the first exit: Molfsee / Blumenthal and follow the L 318 in the direction of Molfsee / Kiel for approx. 5 km. You will find us on the right-hand side at the entrance to the town.

The "Bärenkrug" is located only 10 minutes by car from Kiel city centre, directly in the countryside. Those coming from Kiel only have to follow the Hamburger Chaussee or L 318 direction Molfsee / Flintbek / Neumünster and will find us at the end of the town on the left side.
