Enjoy handmade food in a cosy ambience

Our restaurant is situated in a green area - directly on the beautiful Kiel Canal.

From our guest room and the winter garden as well as the two terraces you enjoy an unobstructed view of the canal and the passing ships.

Depending on the season, you can enjoy homemade cakes and tarts in the afternoon. During the opening hours we offer you warm meals throughout. 

The orientation of our cuisine includes seasonal, regional, Mediterranean and oriental aspects. Many of our products come from local farms such as eggs and potatoes from Hof Postkamp, asparagus from Friedrichshof, fish from the lake fish market and game from Knooper hunting. 

We pay special attention to the fact that our dishes are handmade (e.g. we serve homemade bread).
